Easter Sunday by Reagan

Aloha! or as I am learning down here in the south..... Hi Y'all! This is Reagan Elisabeth. Guess what I got for Easter. Yep, A huge yellow bird that I was afraid would eat me. Turns out it doesn't eat babies so I was safe.

That's Uncle Cody behind me. He got some little toys in his basket.

But it was after we got into our Easter Baskets that things got really interesting. They wanted us to Hunt for Easter Eggs. Something about a confused bunny that paints them up then puts them around for children to find to remind them of ..... Hmmm. .. I don't know what. I'll get back with you on that.
Anyway, the hunt started off pretty calm. Mom picked me up along with my empty basket and.........
we started picking up eggs that were hidden around the house.

We checked out on the balcony under chairs, in flower pots, all over the house.......

Pretty soon it started to get real serious with Uncle Cody and Mommy rushing around the house and climbing on things. She passed me off to Grandma so I wouldn't get hurt or in the way or something....

Giving me to grandma ended up being a pretty smart thing to do, because this is what happened when they were tied for eggs and mommy spotted the last one.

I want you to know that I was laying on the floor and I had a good view of what happened next, and my version has not been biased or influenced in any way......
Mommy saw the last egg and started to reach for it when.....

Uncle Cody ran into her while trying to get to the egg .......
I think it was golden or full of money or something they way they went after it.

They were both reach and grabbing and squealing.... I mean it was really, really,.....

funny, because...........

I know I had the most eggs!

Come on you two, break it up!

There, that's better.

Wow... That's sportsmanship for you. :-)
So, after the hunt Grandpa and Grandma made some delicious Golden Rod for breakfast. Yum! Then we got dressed for Church.

Here I am in my new dress and guess what?

Grandma and I kind of matched. She was in green, white and orange too, and I thought her shoes were really pretty.

But prettiest of all was Mommy in her new Jewelry the Easter Bunny left in her basket. Daddy is gonna think we're the prettiest girls ever!

That was my first Easter. I hope your's was just as fun! Love you!
