The New Grandbaby!

DARRYL AND CINDY HAVE A NEW GRANDSON!!!

 Born Friday September 21, 2012

Hi, my name is Maggie. Today Mommy went to the Dr. for her check up and they sent her to the hospital to have our new baby. I, being the sweet, obedient, little girl I am, helped grandma out by doing the dishes.

 

Here is a big kiss for Grandpa.

Here is my big sister Emily. Yeah.... she helps me do all the work sometimes. 

After everything was cleaned up Grandma helped us build a tent in the living room, then she ordered pizza and soda pop and we had a party while we waited for news of the baby's arrival. 

 Micah Osborne Guffey 

was born at 11:01 PM and weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 inches long.

On Saturday morning Daddy took the whole family up to the hospital to see our new baby brother.

Here is the whole Fam-Damly.

Since Emily is a big girl she has a phone, so naturally she had to text his picture to friends.

We each had our chance to hold little Micah. Jonas was first while we all waited patiently. 

 Adam and Lydia await their turn.

As does Preston.

Odi tried very hard not to look too excited.

Can we go soon?

Yeah... dad said we were going to ride the Tide to downtown Norfolk to show grandma around.

Micah slept the whole time, almost like he was afraid to wake up. Hmmmm.....

When we were all done holding Micah it was grandma Cindy's turn to hold the baby.

I was lucky. Since I was sitting with daddy I got to hold him longest.

I gave him a kiss so he would remember that I am his favorite sister no matter how many times I poke at his eyes.

Grandma Cindy said "I need a picture with my baby Shiloh!", and then she sat with mommy. Doesn't she know Mommy is a big lady? Grandma Cindy is silly sometimes. 

Here we are! The great 8 of Jason and Shiloh Guffey.

By the way, in case you were wondering the family order is Emily, Jonas, Adrianna, Preston, Lydia, Adam, me (Mary Alice, but everyone calls me Maggie) and Micah! 

 We love you little Micah! Welcome to the family!
