Darryl and I thoroughly enjoyed our summer in Chile, but as we prepared to leave there was a little nip of autumn in the air. These next couple of posts will be of our last few weeks in Chile before coming home to a very pleasant Spring in Idaho and Utah.

February 27, 2016 - Darryl and I took a very, very long walk around Downtown Santiago. We walked through parks along the boulevard -
Then hiked up San Cristobal Hill to the Statue of the Virgin Mary.
We had a nice view of the city as we hiked.
Finally, the statue was in site.
We rode the funicular down the hill, caught a cab to Plaza de Armas and walked around the Museum of fine arts.
That afternoon we fed the missionaries. They had fun trying on Darryl's new Bequeano hat.
Santiago is such a beautiful place and I loved walking around the city and spending so much time there.
