Legoland Amusement Park
Winter Haven, FL
Legoland is a small but very, very fun theme park. It was created on the grounds of the old Cypress Gardens, which was a #1 Florida Attraction for many years. It is not only a fun park, but beautiful as well.
The Central Double Decker Carousel was our first ride.
The Movie World waws great and we loved the rides, especially the ships with water cannons.
Although Hillary and Gabe tend to get motion sickness, they did very well on a couple of the roller coasters we went on. Even this small one was quite fun!
Being Legoland - Legos are everywhere and I loved it! (Hillary and the boys did too.)
Once again, we were having so much fun that I forgot to take photos of most of our activities. This ride was quite fun for Hillary and the boys, I especially love the look on Ezra's face in the last of these photos. What a sweetie!
Gabe and Jethro..
Brothers and best buds forever!
Jousting around in the Lego Kingdom!
I tried to get Gabe and Ezra to come over and pose in this photo, but they weren't as interested in the art of this amazing Lego Pharaoh as Jethro was.
One of my favorite parts of Legoland was their Tiny City exhibit made entirely out of Legos. Cityscapes of Miami, -
New York City -
..Washington D.C., -
..and the Daytona Speedway.
One of my favorite parts of Legoland is the fact that it closes early. The gates close at 6:00 on weekdays and 7:00 on weekends. It was such a fun days with these sweet boys.
Finally, there is an amazing set of hotels and shops on the property that look like the set of the Lego Movie!
What fun it would be to stay here!
Fried chicken for dinner on the way home and an excited evening of showing Grandpa all their toys and purchases and telling of their adventures made for a nearly perfect day!
