CUNNINGHAM FAMILY REUNION - The Last Hurrah... Sort of.

 Friday July 1, 2022

Puppet Shows, Lip Syncs and Fireworks

We were sad that Alan had to leave us today to go back to work. Here's hoping he can stay for the whole shebang next time!

We spent the entire day at the lake house, swimming, eating delicious food and in the early evening the grandchildren, under the direction of Miss Tyree, put on a puppet show with the many Milk Carton puppets they had made in the craft tent.

There is a banana and a bee kissing, or maybe fighting. Hmmm... I'm not quite sure, but they were having a great time!

There were about 5 little puppet vignettes in all and they had us all laughing!

Then we all got ready for the Lip Sync show with Aunt Jesse taking official photos.

(Not really, but it's such a nice camera it looks official)
Benny, Sammy, Wesley and Micah waiting for the show to start.

Gideon and Clancy getting ready to entertain us.

Sammy 'taking down' Gabriel.

We see what you did Sam.

One of the best songs of the night was Shiloh and Jason singing about Hillbilly Lovin' (or something like that)

Preston getting some help from Sammy...

Lydia adding some moves..

Adam getting serious...sort of.

Maggie gettin' down..

Micah singing his heart out!

Lily - showing us how it's done!

Cami and Jacob making us happy
(and in case you're wondering,.. Yes, Sammy helped everyone. Maybe he thought he was the stage manager.)

Benny singing out!

And some impromptu group numbers by the kiddos.

Avery's first solo..

Gage and his back up dancers... "The Guffey Muffin's" gettin' down.

And Marshall getting serious.

Sammy: "Tyree, you stand her and sing your song"
Tyree: "How does this look"

Isabelle making us all laugh!

Ryan and a very shy Reagan performing a father, daughter duet.

The Platt Family singers,

Followed by the Cunningham Crooners..

We finished off the night with Grandpa shooting off beautiful fireworks out on the water.

It was loud and lovely.

And a perfect way to end an almost perfect family day!
