On December 15th Darryl and I went to the Plaquemine Branch Christmas Party. We didn't get a tree this year as we wouldn't be here after the 20th, but we did decorate a little bit with a small Nativity and some lights.
We left on Thursday the 20th for North Carolina and drove all night arriving just before 6:00 a.m. On Friday Cindy Marie, with her sons and friend Jimmy and Darryl and I along with Shiloh & Jason, Cami & Jacob, Cody & Alisa and Skye and their children (33 of us) went on the Tanglewood Hayride to look at the lights.
On Sunday December 23rd Skye and Ryan blessed little baby Avery in the Lincolnton Ward in North Carolina.
Ryan's mom & Dad and his Brother and Sister and their families were there too.
Donna with Aria, Annabelle, Reagan and Jade. We had a wonderful Baked Potato Dinner after Church. Oh... and Shiloh's choir at church Sounded Wonderful.
Some people had tired feet and went in stocking feet at the Dinner.
This brings back memories....Sunday Evening Cami and Jacob put up Grandma Peggy's Santa's Workshop. I figured this little house is at least 35 yrs. old.
Little Miss Izzy gets in the Holiday Spirit..
I got up early on my Birthday and made Meringue mushrooms and a Yule Log Cake for my birthday.
In the evening we had a wonderful dinner and birthday party. I received so many nice gifts, art canvasses, books, a movie, socks and Oreos, this fun BT21 Cooky sleep mask.
Christmas morning I woke up early and as I walked from the trailer to the house the tree in the window looked so beautiful.
The sight inside was just delightful. All the children's Christmas wishes come true under the tree..
and on the couch where the stockings were ....
Even the living room had it's share of Christmas cheer!
Reagan and Annabelle show off their gifts..
While Marshall, Gage and Lily play with their gifts..
Oh what fun!
Little Isabelle was fascinated by the "Clock aquarium" Cody made for Darryl.
Marshall loved his "Marshall" jammies!
Cody, Alisa and Rachel check their stockings.
While Ross shows off his cobblers set.
"Look Grandma... Silly Putty!"
I got a sweet little whisk for Christmas from Jesse.
It's perfect for my Hot Cocoa!
Ahhhhh!!!! Delicious!
Around noon we went over to Shiloh and Jason's to watch them open their gifts.
Rachel, Avery and Grandma Cindy..
With Sweet baby Avery!
My Beautiful Reagan..

Getting ready for caroling with Rachel and Gage.
Miss Izzy on St. Stephens Day! (or Boxing Day)
Before we left Cami gave Darryl and I haircuts. Little Isabelle said she needed a haircut too.
Loving this little ginger.
Finally, Darryl's present says it all! Cami made it for him.
We simply had a wonderful Christmas Time, and we thank God for it.
