Saturday and Sunday March 14 & 15, 2020
The last day of our cruise was very relaxing. It was a Sea Day so we basked in the sun, played games, ate and ate and ate. We enjoyed every single minute of it from our delicious breakfast, several lunches (who would do that?) to Darryl, Cindy, John and Nancy once again taking of the trivia challenge at Schooner Bar and finally losing (we won 3 days in a row on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), to our fabulous dinner in the main dining room served by our favorite wait staff, Jorge and Fernando and finally one last trip to the Late Night buffet. The shows, the ship, the crew, the family - It was a perfect vacation.
Then, Sunday morning when we disembarked, we walked out into a world turned upside-down.
Toilet paper was gone, paper towels, Kleenex, bottled water, flour, sugar, bread almost impossible to procure.
THE WORLD HAS GONE CRAZY!
I just wanted to turn around and get back on the boat, but the boats were no longer sailing.
