CHRISTMAS IS HERE AGAIN! - Part 2

Friday December 25, 2020

CHRISTMAS DAY

🎄

Christmas Eve after Santa Claus visited.

I think the boys got up around 4:00 a.m. They let the grown-ups sleep until 5:30 though.

It was such a wonderful relaxing Christmas morning with Lily, Ransom and Gage.

We finally got Izzy and Marshall up and they had a great time looking through all the treasures in their stockings.

Oohhh Makeup!

The morning was spent playing with all the toys and goodies from Santa and those who love us.

Harry Potter Legos for Lily.

Bows and Arrows, metal detector, Giant Jenga and Hot Wheels tracks.

And for Miss Isabell, her make-up kit was the best ever!

Making mom beautiful!

Oh So Lovely!

Later in the morning we went over to watch Shiloh and Jason's family open their gifts. Oh the fun and laughs!

Mr. Wesley and Grandpa (who is wearing his best Christmas Sweater.

"Here Dad, I'll tear that for you!"

Benny with the best sunglasses ever made!

Adrianna and her Secret Santa pants.... er... gift!

Yep... that's our Odie!

Shiloh with her massive Hillary Hot mug!

And of course the annual fabulous Family Calendar, and cherished gift we get each year from Cali and her family.

We got back to Cami and Jacob's as Izzy was finishing up her make-up.

There are no words to describe how hard it was to keep a straight face and tell this sweet munchkin how pretty she looked!

"But Grandma... you need make-up too". And with those words she set herself to the near impossible task of beautifying Grandma.

Saturday Dec. 26, 2020

Oh what joy we had a Christmas. Saturday brought a delicious Family dinner, music and fun and Mike and Dru Guffey's.
🎄🎄🎄

Best Cousin-friends Benny and Marshall get ready to open gifts and enjoy the entertainment.

Papa ( Mike Guffey) passes out the gifts....

with the help of the grandsons.

Jesse Howard plays a cello solo for us. It was beautiful and he did a very good job.

Then the boys put on a skit for us.

Not to be outdone, the girls put on a skit of their own.

Sunday December 27, 2020
We finally had our traditional Christmas feast prepared by Cami, complete with the admonishment to "Dress for Dinner".

And they did!

We had so much fun at the Guffeys' in North Carolina, but we did have to go back to work. We arrived home on December 29th to presents in the mail.
My sister Michell found me the perfect shirt...

I opened my birthday gift from Cali. I must say I absolutely love this! And it is so true!

And we opened our gifts from Cody. A beautiful had carved Nativity (I can't find the photos) and this handmade set of miniature sacrament trays.

I do love the Christmas Holidays. They love joy and peace that surround us by our family and extended families is truly the best way to celebrate the gift to us all that is
the Savior of the World.
God Bless us.. Everyone!
