A New Dome, The Temple, Our Prom King and Thanksgiving

November 17 - 24, 2022

We inflated the Titan Cement Dome on November 27th.

This dome has a steel Ring around the top where the top and walls of the dome come together, for that reason there are 3 cranes tied off to the ring that help lift the ring so the inflation process goes smoothly.

A perfect inflation.

Saturday, November 19th Darryl and I took the morning and went to the temple in Orlando.

These photos are a little out of order, so the following 4 photos are from Friday Night, November 18, 2022.
Homecoming for Lincoln Charter High School. Our Grandson Adam was elected as the men's Freshmen representative to the Homecoming Court.

Adam's big brother Preston Guffey, was nominated as Homecoming King. He chose his little brother Wesley to be his escort.

Well guess what? Preston was voted Homecoming King!

Actually, at Lincoln Charter School they no longer have "King and Queen" since that is politically incorrect, (I don't agree, but that's life these days) there are two Lincoln Charter Campuses, and each campus selects one student to be their "Royal Eagle". Here are the 2022 Lincoln Charter Royal Eagles.

Some handsome young men right there..

Shiloh and Jason and their Royal Men.

Skye and Ryan had a little Thanksgiving dilemma this week. All Ryan's family were out of town, Ryan had to work Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and Skye had School and was studying for her upcoming finals. Who would watch their girls?

I drove up to North August, South Carolina on Monday and got the girls ready for school on Tuesday. (Ryan leaves for work at 5:45 and Skye leaves for Law School at 6:00)
Miss Avery in her festive autumn outfit.

I went to Annabelle's 2nd grade class and enjoyed her Thanksgiving Feast.

Then She and I went to Avery's preschool and enjoyed Avery's school Thanksgiving feast. What a fun day!

The car was already packed, so as soon as Reagan came home from school we hit the road for Florida, getting in about 10:00 pm. The girls we all worn out, but it was so nice to have them with us.

Wednesday we picked up Rachel and Ross and brought them over for a Slumber party with the cousins. Of course if you're at Grandma's house there will be tea time too.

And we made pie for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Rachel was a big helper.

Thanksgiving Day 2022
It was such a lovely day we decided to eat our Thanksgiving Feast outdoors. We invited our some of our crew members from Spain and Mexico to join us for our traditional dinner.

Along with Cody and Alisa's Family and Kendra and Kelly, we had quite the party!

And with the help of all the family, we had a very delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings and fixings.

And this Thanksgiving Season I do have so much for which to be Thankful.
Most especially my family.
