September 6, 2017 was Marshall's 2nd birthday, so of course we had to have a party! Cami pulled out all the stops and Dee Dee, Mike and Dru were there to help celebrate!
His birthday cake was decorated like his favorite Umi Zumi character and it was yummy. Lot's of good food, cousins and presents made for a great party.
What fun it was to get to visit with Dee Dee all day!
Welcome to the chaos that is our family dear!
So excited to open his presents he doesn't think about blowing out the candles.
Mom's going to show him how it's done!
Cousins and siblings join in the fun!
So many fun gifts for our sweet little Marshall! It was fun
to see Mike and Dru (a.k.a. Nana and Papa)
My beautiful niece Diana!

On Thursday Darryl and I left to drive back to Idaho. On the way we paid homage to Grandma Peggy's sweet tooth by stopping at the Russell Stover store and buying lots of Chocolate.
I even bought chocolate Marshmallow Santa's to take on the Disney Cruise in October.
When we left for the funeral we drove straight through from Idaho Falls to Mocksville - a 36 hours drive. We decided to take a couple days to drive home, stopping to spend the night in Ashland, MO and staying with our friends, Mike and Angie Egloff.
The weather was beautiful for our drive and as we were coming out of the mountains at Hoback Junction, we saw hundreds of cyclists doing the 24 hour LOTAJA (Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming) race. We also saw some beautiful vistas around Palisades Resevoir, Kelly's Canyon and Ririe.
It was good to be back "home" in Idaho, even if it would be for just a few days.
