Introducing Darryl Ross -

Friday October 6th -

Today I made the 8 hour drive to Sandpoint, Idaho to help Cody and Alisa out when she has the baby.

Miss Rachel was very happy to have Grandma Cindy visit. Although, her first words to me were "Where's Darrow?" She is her grandpa's girl.

Miss Rachel let me fix her hair for church. She is such a sweet little girl!

If you have to wait a couple days for the new arrival, this is a beautiful place to do the waiting.

I knew early this morning that Alisa was in the very beginning of her labor. Around 2:00 it started getting pretty intense so she and Cody went to the Birthing Center in town since the Mid-Wife was unable to come out to our place. 2 1/2 hours later this little bundle of joy was born.

Meet Darryl Ross Cunningham
Born at 5:23 p.m. weighing 7 lbs 13 oz. and 20 inches long.

Darryl Cody and Darryl Ross. One proud daddy and his baby boy!

Grandma Cindy gets a turn to hold her 25th grandchild.

Kisses for her brother.

Tuesday October 10 - Tuesday October 17, 2017
One happy little family.

Rachel was very quick to let us know that Ross is her baby.

She loves to hold him and kiss him and wants him to sleep in her bed at night. She was a little disappointed when she was told he has to sleep in his cradle.

He is not really a fat baby, but he does have such round, fat cheeks!

Some mornings are just harder to get up and get going than other mornings.

But when she does get up and going she wants to be with her baby brother.

❤❤❤

 Oh a big yawn!

He has his daddy's ears, that's for sure.

Love the raised eyebrow! And just look at those kissable cheeks!

Daddy and his kiddos ready to go to bed.

Ten days later it's time for Grandma to go home. Rachel gave me a hug and I said, "Smile so we can take a picture". This is what I got.

Alisa tells her "Show your teeth like this"....

Now she's getting it!

What a blessing to be able to be there for the birth of our little grandson and spend time with Cody and Alisa and these beautiful grandbabies! Darryl is so good to let me just take off when I feel I need to. What a good life we have!
