Special Times, Pedicures and a Birthday!

August 2nd - 4th, 2021

I will start this post off with a quote from Thomas Sowell. Wise words from a very wise man who is one of my political heroes. And this quote is so true. Our crazy Main Stream Media excoriates any black or brown person who talks positively of conservative ideals and values. It goes back to calling good evil and evil good. What a world we live in!

Now on to some fun news...

Cami and the kiddo's stayed for 5 nights, and oh the fun we had!
I took Lily on a "Grandma - Lily" date to get Manicures and Pedicures and our toes and fingers looked fabulous after that!

It was such a fun sweet time with this beautiful granddaughter of ours. And look how pretty our toes are!

.. and our fingernails!

Reagan and Gage are not only favorite cousins but best friends and kindred souls and they had so much fun playing "Roblocks" and watching TV when we weren't out and about.

Guess what time it is?
Yep... time for a visit to one of my favorite places in Mississippi, the Mississippi Aquarium.

Alligator girls!

And lots of fun for Cami and the kiddos petting the stingrays and the Bamboo Shark.

Oh it's our little blue girl, Miss Izzy!

She really liked the "Fish" tornado that swirls behind her.

So many fun places to view the big aquarium from.

Hello Mr. Ray....

Now, you might be saying to yourself... these are some cool photos, but I must confess, I didn't take them. Little Miss Avery stole my phone and she actually took these 3 photos.

Hello beautiful!

"Oh the fishes they fished for - and they caught so many,
But, they threw them all back so we didn't eat any."

I will admit, the only reason I took this photo is because Annabelle is so darn cute as she sleeps!

It's Darryl's 67th Birthday and Cami and the kids last day in Gautier, so once again we made the most of it and took the kids to the beach for a day of play!

In the evening we took Darryl and the family to our favorite Mexican Restaurant, Aztecas, for a delicious birthday dinner. There was live entertainment and the singer sang a couple of special songs just for Darryl!
FUN!

When we arrived home we had a little birthday party for Grandpa Darryl. Lily made his birthday cake and it was scrumpteous!

I think the several boxes of Whoppers was his favorite gift.

Thank you Cami and kiddos for coming to visit and making this a wonderful birthday week!
