One of the fun things to do in the walled city of Cartagena is stand on the west wall and watch the beautiful sunset. It's also very, very windy about 3/4 of the time.
It was a very lovely evening.
On Saturday December 16th, Darryl and I boarded a bus with members from our ward and rode over 2 hours to Barranquilla, Colombia to go to the beautiful Temple there.
It was such a lovely day to visit The House of The Lord.
The Nativity was visible from the highway.
It was an all day trip and definitely worth every minute.

We did a little shopping down at the Bazurto Market
Where the locals shop in this part of town.
We also enjoyed our walk through the walled city to look at all the lovely lighted Christmas decorations in the different parks, squares,
And out on the plaza towards Getsemani.
And the food! Oh my, there were more street vendors than we could count, and it was delicious.
The lights shining on the clock tower would change colors.
Finally, we had fun shopping for different Nativity sets this year.
This was one of the most unique sets we found.
