On our way to Costa Rica for the Christmas Holidays!
This shirt is so me!
On Friday we went to the Wild Animal Park for a Stake Leaders and Families Christmas Party.
I've never been in a zoo like this where you were able to feed most of the hoof stock!
They shoed us a certain way to hold the carrots to feed the zebras, giraffes, watusi cattle, gemsbok, deer and more!
We had so many carrots between the 7 of us, but the zebras were pretty hungry.
The giraffes are always so majestic looking!
And their heads are so huge.
The giraffes really like Grandpa and Ezra's carrots.
I don't think they liked my carrots... Hmmmm???
It's like a petting zoo for enormous creatures!
I think he wants to borrow your phone Jake.

Yes, that's his tongue! The eyes are so large and innocent looking. I don't trust them.
It's the dry season and there was only a small pond left in the crocodile enclosure.
The Watusi Cattle were quite friendly... and hungry too.
You did have to watch out for their horns. You just don't often think about the power in the movement of these animals large heads. It hurts bad enough getting bonked in the face by a toddler. Can you imagine getting knocked upside the head by a giraffe, zebra or huge cow?
This guy was just a little curious. His ostrich wife kept her distance.
After the tour we enjoyed a delicious dinner and...
they had a dance!

All good things must come to an end. After 3 1/2 hours and helping with the clean up, it was time to go home.

Happy Birthday Grandma... Let the Christmas Eve traditions begin!
Giving Grandma Birthday Snuggles is a great tradition if you ask me.
Christmas Eve Birthday Dinner! Hillary is truly an amazing Chef. A title she fully deserves.
Only one more sleep 'til Christmas!
