Darryl's Botswana Adventure - a.k.a. Dome Technology Superintendents Conference

 Monday January 1, 2024 

Darryl left Cartagena, Colombia for a 23 hour journey to Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the annual Dome Technology Superintendents Conference.

First - his flight Schedule:

Cartagena, Colombia to Panama City, Panama (1hr. 20 min. flight with a 9hr. layover) / Panama City to Istanbul, Turkey arrive on January 2 (12 hour 30 minute flight and another 9hr. layover) / Istanbul to Johannesburg was a 10 1/2hr. flight - arriving at 11am on January 3.

In Johannesburg he met up with the Dome Technology crew where spent the night in a very nice hotel, locked behind fences and gates until they all flew a smaller plane to Maun, Botswana.

They spent a night at the Lodge and then 2 nights camping on Safari on the Savannah at the Okavanga Delta. Here are the Amazing photos from his Botswana adventure. Enjoy!
