The First "REAL" Snow and Something Fishy

Gideon is such a sweet boy and he is always trying to be a big helper. Sometimes that doesn't work out so good. In his quest to 'do it himself' and be like grandpa he went into the weight room where the piranha tank is kept and decided to treat the water with 2 full bottles of chlorine and water treatment. I heard him in there and wondered what he could be doing in the dark. As I neared the door I could smell the chlorine.

I pulled Carnie out of his cloudy tank and rushed him to the small upstairs tank. He wasn't lookin' too good but I am sure he will be fine in a few hours when he gets some of that good water working through his system. Of course the little fish in that tank may find themselves piranha snacks. :-)
***********
Yes, it's that time of the year. It snowed back in October but it didn't stick. This snow will be around for the rest of the day at least.

Of course Gideon loved it, and it wasn't too cold, only 30 degrees.
First snowflakes snack of the season.... Yum!!!

When Darryl got home he found 7 bottles of different Aquarium Treatments dumped into the tank.

Okay but to be fair after the Gideon chemical treatment that poor fish got the Cindy Sue freeze out and then the Darryl boiling pot. If he survives all of that I'm willing to consider him as a borderline miracle fish.
