CUNNINGHAM FAMILY REUNION - continued

 Day - 3

Monday June 27, 2022

We spent the whole wonderful day at the lake house -

enjoying great food, like at the family cook-out for dinner,

Lot's of cousins to eat with and play with, Rachel and Annabelle say.

Little ones to entertain us, like Sammy.

Lots and lots of fun and laughs.

Avery, Sammy, Jethro, Ransom, Ross and Ezra...

And Gideon.

Parker and Tyree join in..

Clancy was having a great time.

But little Liam seems a little concerned.

Ransom had quite a bit of success fishing.

I don't understand the fishy kissing thing my grandkids do, but it must work. They caught a lot of fish over the week.

The water was warm and the kids had so much fun! Right Ross Boss?

Parker and Tyree loved the water!

Hello Preston! Time for a swim.

Wesley was having a great time on dry land.

Izzy and Marshall enjoy some popsicles,

And so does Avery!

The Canoe, Kayak and Paddleboard were also a big hit. Jethro and Grandpa and Skye show us how to do it.

Every Reunion I set up a craft room where the kids can create, color, paint, weave and create, and the kids had so much fun making little things to take home with them.

The last two reunions the craft room was set up in the garages, but since we didn't have access to a garage, Darryl found a double room screen room at a garage sale for $10.00 that worked out great!

The only drama we had was when Hillary accidently ran a stop side and got T-boned by another car on Highway 73. All the boys and the Dog were in the car. Jethro and Ezra were unhurt, but Hillary and Gabriel hurt a little and had to be taken to the hospital.

Gabriel had a headache and a little whiplash but was otherwise okay. Hillary was banged up pretty bad and we were so grateful that the myriad of bruises and a few scrapes and banged up, dislocated ribs were all she had.

God blessed us greatly in keeping her and the boys and Rocky safe.

CUNNINGHAM FAMILY REUNION TIME!

Day - 1
Saturday June 25, 2022
We drove up to Cami and Jacob's in Iron Station, NC on Friday. It was a 10 hour drive so it was around 7:30 p.m. when we arrived. 'Little' Liam was the man of the hour. Everyone wanted to hold him.

He sure loved his cousin Lily..

Sammy says "Grandma, look at my new trick! Now you see my tongue...",

.."Now you don't!" Haha!

Grandpa getting some Liam time on the new front porch..

and being serenaded by Alisa and her fiddle.

Time for some Blackberry picking. Ross and Ransom show off their carton.

Little Misses Izzy and Rachel were just getting started.

Saturday afternoon Skye and Ryan came into town with their girls and while Hillary and her boys got settled into their room (the Salon), and Cody and Alisa occupied the basement with their family (and shared the TV room with the rest of us), Darryl and I set up the Lake House with the help of Cami and Skye & Ryan.
🎇🎇🎇
Saturday evening all the children and grandchildren went to the big "Celebrate America" event at the High School and watched the fireworks.

Day - 2
Sunday June 26, 2022
Darryl and I had our breakfast outside in the Gazebo with a beautiful view of the lake.
Jesse and Kelly along with their kiddos, Tyree and Clancy got in to the lake house around 8:00 in the morning.

We also sang in church on Sunday Morning. A special thanks to Alisa and her Violin skills for making us sound like we were well rehearsed. While we were singing Hillary drove to the airport to pick up Cali, Gideon and Parker.

The rest of Sunday afternoon was magical and relaxing for most of us as we enjoyed Cami and Jacob's beautiful yard and porch,..

Trees, treehouse, slack line swings, fire pit,, trampoline and so much to do. Along with card games and board games.

Bill and Linda came into town and we enjoyed the 3 days we were able to spend with them and with Cindy Marie.

The Cami Guffey's and Cody's family were in charge of food for Sunday evening and the did not disappoint! They served up a delicious Southern Seafood Boil!

The rain started just before time to eat, but lucky for us, their new garage was a perfect place to set up tables and have our dinner.

Double the Cindy's - Double the Trouble!

And she was content to take care of Liam while the rest of us played.

At the end of the evening young Wesley found a toy gun and had so much fun shooting everyone..

When he shot you you were required to react. Alisa collapsed into the chair and he decided that was good enough.
Tomorrow was the first day and the lake and a whole lot of adventure!
