Nassau Bahamas

We arrived in Nassau at 7:00 a.m. Darryl and I got up early to watch the sunrise. There is not much activity on deck at 5:00 a.m. It was a beautiful sunrise that morning. We changed and went into the colorful town of Nassau with it's pastel buildings, glitzy shops and wonderful people. Here are a few picture of the town including St. Andrews Kirk, the Government House with the Statue of Christopher Columbus out front, the Embassy of Brazil and more. We walked down Bay Street, then cut across to Shirley St. over to Queen St. and back down to Bay Street. We shopped a little then back to the ship to deposit our souvenirs and meet our group for a tour of The Atlantis Resort ( Atlantis will have a post by itself.)

Enjoy the Pictures!
Below is the main pool with it's colorful lights that change every 30 seconds.

Early morning is a good time to get a picture of the main lobby with it's atrium skylight, dance floor, beautiful Murals ....

And the main staircases.

The Sun rises on Atlantis.

Darryl saw the building below and said "This is where Captain Jack Sparrow recruited his crew."
