Relief Society and Dinosaurs

 Tuesday June 14, 2022

We flew into Tampa at 7:30 in the morning. Spent the day arranging things in the house to accommodate Hillary and the boys, and getting painting boards ready to teach a water color class at Relief Society in the evening.

It was a lot of fun and I believe everyone enjoyed their paintings.

Just a few minutes up the road from us is a wonderful park called Dinosaur World. I had been here in 2017 and was excited to take Gabriel, Jethro and Ezra to see all the life size 'Dino' statues.

Hillary and I had a pretty great time too!

Making our way into the world of Dinosaurs.

This is one of the props used in the film Jurassic Park.

The sign reads, "In the unlikely event of a Dinosaur attack, please observe the following safety guidelines. - Run.  Keep Running."

It's not fun being eaten by a baby T-Rex!
Gabriel was chomped first...

Then Jethro..

Ezra was barely a snack!

Oh no! Not Mommy!

I don't think he liked my hat! Haha!

The Mammoth exhibit was quite fun...

..and I love how Jethro knew it was supposed to be cold and not the 92° degrees it was at the time.

Down each trail there was something new to see.

Well, that dino didn't run fast enough!

After making through the jungle, the kids went to the excavation site to uncover some dinosaur bones.

I am grateful these T-Rexes aren't real. They would have truly been frightening.

Dino Triplets-

After uncovering the dinosaur bones the boys went gem mining ..

and found a bag full of gems they were able to keep.

Finally, they went to the fossil dig and each got to keep 3 of the fossils that they found in the sand.

We all had a wonderful time with the dinosaurs in the jungle and we surely slept well when we got home.
