Another Nauvoo Adventure

Heather and I arrived in Nauvoo on Monday the 6th at nine in the morning. We immediately had to go to meetings and then work. It took us away from camp most of the day. We finally finished setting up at 10:30 last night.

Today is was UP early and off to Missionary meeting. Then the fun part. We played with the children for a few hours. Tonight was Heather's turn to make supper. She made asparagas w/ blue cheese dressing and Polish Sausage. We had fruit for dessert.
As you can tell by the picture, we decided to go with lots of fruits and veggies while we are here. No sweets, cakes, cookies, and very low carbs.

Our pre-show assignment is the puppet show. The kids each have a puppet so they can participate.

And then they go next door and learn the Highland Fling.

When the rains came many of us took shelter under the stage. This is our friend Mike Smith who plays Wilford Woodruff and King Follet.
This is the youngest member of Red Cast, Courtney.
Still wating for the pageant to start, they rain almost stopped at this point.
Heather meets Dallyn Vail Bayles and his beautiful wife Rachel.
Look, They are starting the show! Yippee!

The Temple Scene (with only a little rain).

I will post again in a couple of days. Maybe Cody will hold still long enough so I can get a picture of him too!
