The Work of the "Low Bar" Missionaries

When you are a low bar missionary, every day starts with a district meeting to keep us in line. These are our district leaders, Gerry (Charles Makepeace) Graves and Mary Jane (Martha Makepeace) Wadley. We sit attentively while they give us spiritual instruction to try and raise us up.
Sometimes they bring in a High Bar missionary to try and teach us how to improve. Today it was Cody, Cody, Cody. But obviously it didn't work in Heather's case as she started out the morning as the baby Nazi.

Heather and Little Ryker!

Well, sometimes we low bar people spend a little time on our knees....

...and sometimes we get down and dirty.

..And then there are times that are so hard on us... like just have to play and try to make little kids smile...

....and then we make them clean up our messes.
We shirk our duties anytime we can just to hold on to the smallest cast members and pretend like we are working hard.

(This is for Leisha, I now understand what you meant about how soft Rachel's hair is and how you love to fix it up. Little Ryker's hair is so soft and when you pull the little tiny ringlets out his hair is 3 or 4 inches long.)
I mean, having to watch Ryker is such a chore... (NOT) He is the sweetest little guy!
Then sometimes we wonder what these little ones think about the powers that be putting the Low bars in charge of them.
We build our own fortresses here and don't let the mockery of the world (or brothers) bother us though!
We sure do love you and wish you were here to help us get on the straight and Narrow!

Must be a totally different experience from performing!

Totally different and way fun. I don't know about doing when my grandkids are performing, because I would never see them on stage.

What a great picture of Carrie and Ethan playing baseball. Love your blog... It's almost like still being there.
