Christmas Trees and Meeting the Big Guy

Cali, Daniece and I ventured to the Festival of Trees with Gideon and Parker to see the tree Cali helped to decorate and get some Christmas Ideas. To say there was a mob there would be an understatement, but it was still a lot of fun. - This is the tree Cali helped to decorate and it sold on the first day.
Here are some thoughts I had while on this adventure:
Nothing says Christmas to me like blue squirrly thingies, shiny green things with fuchsia onions and bows on a pink tree.

Ahhh getting better. White and green. Surprisingly it had a very calming effect on me. But not on Gideon who took off at a run and I couldn't get people to move so I could chase him down. He was loose for about 3 minutes.

Okay, I know I made fun of the "Whoville" type tree, but I actually liked this little green one with the colorful butterflies and wood nymphs. .... or maybe they are angels.
I like this tree. It reminds me of the outdoors and makes me crave Hot Cocoa!
For those who have had to tighten the purse strings on your decorating budget this Christmas, this tree proves you probably have everything around your house that you need to make a beautiful tree. Just grab a can of white spray paint, some twigs and anything else you can find and Shazzaam! Beautiful Tree!

This tree reminded me of Cami and Miss Lily Pie. Cute white tree with pretty pastel roses and little colorful baby fairies/angels who you imagine could possibly get in a little mischief, but it would be so cute you wouldn't care.
I think it is almost Heavenly.

This was actually my least favorite tree. Don't know why. The little girls I saw there loved this tree. Maybe because I don't like that shade of pink. But I thought my girls who love pink might like it.
And yes, we visited Santa. Gideon wasn't too sure about it but at least he didn't run away screaming.

Miss Parker, on the other hand, had no trouble charming the big guy and telling him what she wants for Christmas, which Santa said is a secret only he can understand. When I went to take her back he said "No, I need to hold her for a while. Just come back in 30 minutes!" Hahaha.
"I love you Santa."

Y'all have a happy weekend.

I like pink, but that ribbon does nothing for that tree. I actually really like the "Hot Cocoa Tree." I still think we should have our own virtual Festival Of Trees. I want to see how everyone decorates their tree(s).

Oh such fun! Parker Holland could charm anyone. I like the way she's looking at Santa!
