Traveling During a "Stay at Home" Order. - You Can't Keep Us Down!

Thursday April 9, 2020

It had been almost a month and it was time for Gideon and Parker to go home to Phoenix and be with their Mom. They have been such good children for me, but I know they have missed their Mom so much.

One thing about traveling during a pandemic with "Stay at home" orders or requests... No Lines. None. And nearly empty flights. There was no mask mandate at this time on the airplanes and we pretty much had our choice of seats. Really, look at this.

Gulfport - Biloxi International Airport 20 minutes before our flight to Atlanta.

Our flight to Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.

I believe there were about 20 people on this flight. I believe it was an Airbus 321

And this is how busy Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix was on the week leading up to Easter.

It made for a very quick and relaxing trip when you don't have crowds to contend with. The kids were so excited to see Mom... and they had an even bigger surprise in store!
